Rebuilding Your Health
Welcome to Rebuilding Your Health. This book introduces you to the basic concepts of health and how you can find the â??root causeâ? of your illness or disease condition. It can become your road map to finding the cause of your health challenges, creating optimal health and longevity.
Most books today on the subject of health and wellness arenâ??t written by practicing doctors. I have been in practice since 1982 and continue to have an active practice in San Diego, California, which has provided me with practical experience that I share with you here. In addition, many books in this field that have been written by medical doctors are not practicing in the field of complementary or functional medicine. This tends to provide information from a â??traditionalâ? point of view, but omits the vast array of scientific literature and research on â??alternative and holisticâ? approaches to uncovering and resolving chronic health issues.
Most people struggle with health challenges because the recommendations they receive have not been personalized, based on their biochemical individuality. Realize that thereâ??s no one perfect test, vitamin, food, or exercise program that fits everyone. Thatâ??s the beauty of what youâ??ll learn about here, what is called functional diagnostic medicine. This approach looks at everyone as an individual and bases treatment on each personâ??s unique chemistry and makeup.
Enjoy reading Rebuilding Your Health as it provides guidance in finding the â??root causeâ? of your health challenges and assists in restoring you to the â??new youâ?â??both now and into the future.
